Tom Brady, full name Thomas Edward Patrick Brady, Jr., is an American football player who accumulated many triumphs. He was born on August 3, 1977 in California and has been a big fan of sports since he was a little kid. He regularly watched the matches of quarterback Joe Montana, a player to which he was later on even compared to. In high school, Brady played both baseball and American football, which eventually became his main interest. He decided to study at the University of Michigan, where he could devote himself fully to the sport. However, Brady was definitely not one of the stars right away. He was perceived as a determined and intelligent player, but he did not physically excel over others.
Brady’s professional career and Super Bowl victory
He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2000, which started his professional career. Over the course of 19 years, he appeared in the squad of this team a total of 199 times and led the team to 6 Super Bowl victories. Also interesting is the fact that the New England Patriots team did not manage to win this prestigious trophy once before Brady’s arrival. In 2021, however, Tom Brady achieved his seventh Super Bowl victory, this time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This made him the oldest winner in history at the age of 43.
At the time of his first Super Bowl victory, he was also the youngest quarterback to ever achieve this. You might expect Brady to stop at best and retire. However, this successful quarterback is definitely not planning to do that. He did not give the slightest chance of speculation about the end of his career. Right after his last victory in the Super Bowl, he announced that he would return next season.
Tom Brady and his connection to the Deflategate affair
Although Brady has won dozens of awards, he is also associated with a negative affair known as Deflategate. The New England Patriots, led by Brady, were accused of using intentionally deflated balls during the match just prior to the Super Bowl, giving the quarterback an illegal advantage. Tom Brady himself was alleged to take part in this swindle, for which he was fined and suspended for several games.

Tom Brady – a handsome married man with three children
In addition to being a successful athlete, some women might appreciate Tom Brady also for his appearance. This is evidenced by the fact that he is married to a supermodel named Gisele Bündchen. The couple even said “yes” to each other twice. For the first time in February 2009 at a ceremony involving approximately 20 people. However, they liked the whole thing so much that they did it again in two months at the model’s house. In December of the same year, their first son was born, and their daughter three years later. On top of that, Brady has a son from his previous relationship with actress and model Bridget Moynahan.
What does the daily routine and diet of this professional athlete look like?
Success doesn’t grow on trees. This player wearing number twelve on his jersey could only confirm that for you. He described his diet and philosophy of life in more detail in his book The TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance. In the book, he acquaints its readers with his 12 life principles, thanks to which he maintains his form.
An example of his diet is the emphasis on consuming minimally processed ingredients and avoiding foods that are thought to promote inflammation in the body. Thus, in general, he combines the rules of alkaline, anti-inflammatory and Mediterranean diets with an emphasis on organic farming, seasonal and minimally processed foods. He also avoids refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, trans fats, caffeine, glutamate and alcohol. Although his diet consists mainly of plant-based foods, sometimes he does eat meat and is not considered to be a vegan or vegetarian. He emphasizes the importance of hydration and sleep, so it’s quite possible that you would find Brady in bed before 9pm.
Although not all of his principles are based on scientific grounds, it is quite possible that a good diet, sufficient hydration, sleep and training have the merit of giving such great performances even at his age. And what is his biggest driving force?
“I was always kind of motivated by people that say ‘you can’t do it.’ You know, ‘you’re not good enough, you’re not fast enough, not big enough’” says Tom Brady.
