Method:

In a bowl, mix flour with cocoa, salt, and baking powder. Beat the eggs, cane sugar, oil, and vanilla extract until foamy in another bowl. Then, add this liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, and thoroughly mix everything. The dough should be sticky and firm. Let it cool in the refrigerator for at least three hours, ideally overnight. Then use the dough to make small balls, and coat them in powdered sugar. Place on baking paper.

To prevent cookies from sticking together as they rise, leave enough space between them. Bake the crinkles in a heated oven set to 180 °C for about 10 minutes. Let the finished cookies cool and then store in a closed container, ideally in the refrigerator. They are so good, though, that they most likely won’t be hidden for very long.
