If you like having a sweet breakfast, we have a great tip for you! Fluffy vanilla pancakes topped with salted caramel, which contain an extra dose of protein. Start the day healthy and tasty!
To prepare the pancake dough we need:
- 200 g of liquid egg whites
- 120 g of water
- 100 g of vanilla flavored pancake mix
- 1 tea spoon of baking powder
- pinch of salt
- coconut oil spray
- calorie-free syrup Salted caramel (as topping)

Preparation:
In a large bowl, mix the pancake mix with the baking powder, and then add the water. We mix everything well so that we don’t have lumps left. Meanwhile, mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt in the second bowl using a hand blender. We mix until the egg whites are thick and stiff. We gradually add the whipped whites to the pancake mixture and gently stir the whole mixture with a spatula to make it nicely uniform, and so the dough remains beautifully fluffy.
Prepare a pan for pancakes, spray it with coconut oil and spoon the pancake dough in the shape of small pancakes onto it. Cover the pancakes with a lid and bake on a low flame to achieve a fluffy effect. After two minutes flip the pancakes, cover again and bake on the other side for about 2 minutes. We repeat this process until we use the whole prepared dough. We have the pancakes ready, now we can pour them with calorie-free syrup, or decorate as you want and serve!
