Fitness recipe: Roasted Caprese chicken

Chicken meat has several advantages – it can be made in all ways and quickly, contains few calories, and, conversely, a lot of protein. Therefore, we have decided to prepare another great recipe for you, in which this ingredient will play a major role. Try the delicious “Caprese” chicken with tomato and mozzarella. Let’s get on to the preparation!

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts (approximately 450 g)
  • 2 larger tomatoes (approximately 150 g)
  • 1 pack of mozzarella (120 g)
  • a handful of fresh basil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation:

Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise and salt and season them on both sides. Then spray the baking sheet with oil spray and place the chicken in it. Place fresh basil leaves, sliced tomato and mozzarella on each steak. Put the meat in a pre-heated oven at 180°C and roast for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve the meat immediately after baking, lightly topped with balsamic vinegar, with vegetable salad, potatoes, rice or other popular side dish. Bon Appetite!
