This time we bring you traditional mildly spicy Mexican Chilli con carne with perfectly balanced nutritional values.
Ingredients for the chilli:
- 400 g lean minced pork/beef
- 400 g diced canned tomatoes
- 350 ml beef broth
- 120 g tinned beans
- 50 g tinned sweetcorn
- 1 large white onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp tomato purée
- ½ square dark chocolate
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- olive oil
- ground black pepper, salt and chilli powder to your taste

- rice
- lime
- coriander

Directions:
Fry the finely-chopped onion in the oil until translucent. Then add the pressed garlic, sweet paprika, ground cumin, chilli powder, minced meat and roast stirring occasionally until the meat is brown. Add the tomato purée, stir it with the meat mixture and then add the diced tomatoes and beef broth. Mix everything thoroughly, cover with a lid and let it stew for about 20 minutes on a low heat. Stir occasionally. Next, add beans, corn and stew the chilli for another 5-10 minutes. Finally, season it with salt, black pepper and a piece of a high-quality dark chocolate. Chilli is served with rice and fresh coriander. Before serving, you can also add a few drops of lime juice on top. Bon appétit!
