Fitness Recipe: Vanilla Protein Baked Oatmeal

This baked oatmeal perfectly combines everything we love. It contains oats, vanilla protein powder, some slightly sour fruits and crunchy nuts to create the perfect texture. In addition to its delicious taste, it will also amaze you with captivating aroma, which makes the whole process even more enjoyable. It tastes best when still warm.

Method:

Start by thoroughly mixing oats with protein powder, xylitol or erythritol and baking powder. Add apple purée, eggs and milk and mix everything together again. Finally, add chopped walnuts and approximately ⅔ of frozen fruit. Line a small baking dish with baking paper or spray it with some oil and pour the oat mixture in it. Cover the surface with the remaining fruit and bake in the oven preheated to 180 °C for 20 minutes. Serve while it’s still warm.

Our tip: It tastes great together with yogurt or quark cheese. If you add some nut butter on top, a perfect breakfast is ready to be served.
